Without wellbeing life is a challenge, and this affects people in all areas of work and life. Of course, it’s not only knowledge that we need to improve our wellbeing, we also benefit from support and practice.
Our 12 session programme provides the tools to enable people to find wellbeing in a way that works for them. By providing a structure, a supportive group and access to a range of ideas and skills, we empower people to make lasting changes.
Access to a growing number of fantastic facilitators and our capability to train your people as in-house facilitators provides flexibility, meaning we can support your organisation in the way that works best for you.
We are already working in these areas:
We understand that the education sector is an intense, high pressured environment.
The Fresh Air for Schools Programme allows staff to step outside the classroom, and have time and space to stop, rest and recharge.
Our core themes of ‘filling yourself up first’, ‘being present’ and ‘gratitude’ are integral to the health and wellbeing of those who teach and care for young people, and we know that when teachers are happy and healthy they can be at their best and model great practice for pupils..
The programme offers simple and effective ways to manage stress, restore energy, and connect with each other away from the intense environment, and so allows for more creativity, better problem solving and more effective communication.
Teachers that have participated in the sessions have said
“I’m so grateful for the time to get outside”
“Thanks for giving me permission to stop”
“I am able to think so much more clearly when I’m outside rather than being in a meeting, it’s much less pressured”
“I spend all my time in this playing field with the kids and it’s always noisy, I have never stopped to notice the sound of the traffic”

How would it be if YOU were the one being looked after for a change?
We know that working in Health and Social Care can be extremely rewarding and equally demanding. You advise your patients, clients or residents to take care of themselves because it’s essential.
But how are you doing this for yourself?
Fresh Air Fridays can support you by taking you outside to take a step back, breathe, spend time in a natural environment, hear yourself and pick up some simple wellbeing techniques along the way.
One physiotherapist described staying chilled for days after a session and a psychologist described Fresh Air Fridays as providing a guilt-free ‘pause’ button after which her thinking was much clearer.
If you’d like to find out more about how this could help you and your colleagues, please get in touch.
Other areas and potential partnerships
We are also running parent/carer and child sessions that allow families to improve their communication skills, health and wellbeing. We are in conversation with a number of charities about working in partnership and are seeking to trial a programme with a GP’s surgery.
We’d love to hear from you if you like the sound of what we’re doing and are interested in the potential of working together.
